RV Parts All Fall Long

Filed under: Uncategorized — admin @ 12:24 pm

Sunday I bought some parts from you guys at RV Parts Country. I was really amazed that they showed up on my doorstep yesterday. I am really pleased with you guys and the fast shipping that you all offered to us. The prices was the best. I bought a 42 gallon barker tote tank for my RV that way we can just haul our waste behind our truck to the dumpsite. Probably the best idea my wife has ever had. Thank you guys for this purchase!!!

Find a Complete Selection of RV Awnings Online

Does your RV awning need some help? Look no further than your computer. Anything you need can be readily found online. In fact, you can find a complete selection of RV awnings at wholesale prices without even having to set foot on a salesroom floor. Since the online shop doesn’t have to pay rent on a floor or pay a sales associate to talk your ear off, they save money in the process. Those savings are passed on to you, letting you get more bang for your buck. Considering the high cost of living on the motor home road these days, you need all the power from your money that you can get.

Whether you need patio awnings, window shades, or just awning accessories, a complete line of RV parts is only as far away as your nearest computer connection. All you need is the Wi-Fi and a desire to save big. This can help considerably if you need emergency RV awning accessories on the fly. You don’t have to interrupt your travel. All you need to do is get on the Internet to find a complete selection of whatever you need.

The Internet is also helpful if you are looking to upgrade. Tired of running through the rain struggling with those mechanical awnings just to keep yours from being ripped to shreds? You can solve your problem with a push of the button. You can upgrade to an electronic RV awning and be able to raise it with the touch of a button. The next time a night time thunderstorm rages through the RV campground, you’ll be safely raising up the awning without even leaving your pajamas. Actually, you don’t even need to leave your bed. Now that’s living!

Or enjoy a patio awning to get a more complete breath of the outdoors without the bugs. Everyone knows how a bad batch of bugs can just kill an evening, leaving you swatting away to keep from being eaten alive. With a patio awning, you still get the fresh air, but it’s filtered and bug free. Why chew mosquitoes when you can have a patio awning that keeps the buggers outside

Our Friend Merlin’s Review On His New Lifan Generator!

Filed under: Uncategorized — admin @ 2:43 pm

Here is my full review…

I had to wait 3 1/2 weeks for these to get back in stock at the warehouse, but then it was delivered lightning fast! (Next day) The folks at RV Parts Country were very good about updating me on the order status upon my request.

It’s very difficult to find complete specs for this unit on the web, but what I could find looked pretty good. So I ordered one with some trepidation. However I was very impressed from the moment I received it.

We bought this unit to power our 32 ft. toy-hauler camper. Our dealer recommended a minimum 4kw, so we decided to get this one instead of the 3.6kw (ESI3600SIE)unit.

The generator came packaged extremely well. Very heavy duty box with recessed handles that made it quite easy to load into my SUV. There should be no concerns about damage during shipping. I found two different weights listed for this unit. The specs say 144 lbs. The shipping documents said 85 lbs. I haven’t weighed it but I’d say the shipping docs were much closer to correct. My wife and I easily unloaded it from my SUV.

Initial prep was quite simple. Remove the two side covers, be careful the screws are not captive and will fall out. Hook up the negative lead on the battery and fill with oil. It takes about one quart. (1 Liter)

Replace the side covers, then fill with gas and open the fuel cut off valve. Insert the key and crank it up. It took about 2 – 3 seconds to fire up. After the initial start up, I only have to hold the key in the start position about 1/2 a second for it to start.

The included tool kit has a 10 mm / 8 mm open end wrench, a 600 ml oil fill bottle with flexible spout, a reversible screw driver with phillips and flat tips, an oil drain tube, a 12vdc cable with alligator clips, and an extra sparkplug. The fill bottle makes filling / adding oil very neat and easy. The drain tube makes changing the oil a breeze.

The wheels are are fixed (non-pivoting) and small. However I didn’t have any difficulty maneuvering the unit into place. Also, with the two padded handle bars, two guys can easily carry this anywhere.

The pictures show a back-up recoil start but mine doesn’t have that feature. Since the unit constantly charges the battery while it’s running, that shouldn’t be a problem, though.

The specs say it will run about 9 hrs on the 4 gallon tank. It really only has a 2 gallon tank. However mine runs about 7 1/2 hrs on that 2 gallons, which is great! I’m sure the auto idle switch helps a lot with the fuel consumption.

I’d say the 59 db rating is quite accurate. We set the unit right beside our camper and all our friends remarked about how quiet it was.

Our Camp mates had problems with their generator so we plugged them into ours. It ran both campers, with air conditioners, for 4 days with no problems!

Overall, I’m EXTREMELY satisfied with this unit and would highly recommend it to everyone.

I’d be glad to answer any questions or provide additional info upon request:

Thank you for your consideration in posting this entire review .

Thanks Merlin!

Signal Simplicity

Filed under: Uncategorized — admin @ 2:34 pm

I hate trying to find a signal on our satellite.  Everytime we take a trip in our RV, I’m always stuck for  hours trying to get a signal good enough to watch even one channel, and I gave up on trying to get a selection of channels.  On one of our favorite vacation spots that we frequent the most, our RV neighbor, Chuck, suggested we try one of those automatic satellites.  Well, I’m not big on new fangled electronics, but I didn’t want to waste any more of my vacation time struggling to get a signal.  I thought for sure it would cost an arm and a leg to get one like that, but Chuck suggested I try the rvpartscountry.com website.

Not knowing alot about how to use the internet, I was afraid it’d be too difficult, but I was surprised at how easy it was. They have a handy item bar on the side of the site so all I had to do was find the word satellite.  All the different ones they had available popped right up. I just read through the items and found one that was automatic. It didnt take no time at all for it to arrive.

On our first trip out with the new satellite, I was shocked at how easy it was to use.  It didnt take but a few minutes for it to locate a signal. Now we have a choice in what we watch, because it is able to give us a variety of channels.  The reception is clear a as a bell!  Who knew using a satellite could be so simple? Thanks, Chuck and thanks rvpartscountry.com!

Filed under: Uncategorized — admin @ 1:37 pm

I’ve been buying RV parts and accessories for my Coachman Freelander ever since I’ve had it. Now that it’s pretty old, I atleast have to have up to date products so that my friends at the campground doesn’t make too much fun of me. The first place for RV parts that I saw was you guys at RV Parts Country. Once I seen the prices, I was pretty upset with what use to be my favorite place to shop online. Water Woes

Filed under: Uncategorized — admin @ 3:23 pm

Every year my family goes on vacation in our RV.  We like to travel to new places and see new things.  We always have such a blast. With a large family, including 4 kids, we’re able to save alot of money by using our RV.  As anyone knows though with that many kids, we have to have everything in working order to maintain our sanity.

On our last trip, disaster struck.  Our hot water heater went haywire.  I didnt have any hot water to shower the kids or do dishes! I panicked! I knew that we had to replace it right away, but I was coconcerned as to how long it would take to find the right heater and the right price.

Some of the other campers told me about rvpartscountry.com. They said they buy all of their RV parts from that site, because they have awesome prices and convenient shipping.  I looked on my laptop and sure enough they had exacty what we needed. I called and they told me they could have it shipped right to the campsite in just 2  days. I was so relieved!! I placed the order and sure enough we had the new water heater in just 2 days.  We were able to replace the old one and keep everything going smoothly.  Our trip ended up being one the best we’ve ever had. Thanks to rvpartscountry.com we know that no matter what disaster comes our way on our trips, we can handle them all with rvpartscountry.

Worth the Money

Filed under: Uncategorized — admin @ 5:18 pm

My RV is an older one, but I’m not ready to trade it in just yet.  I have alot of memories in that old thing.  Me and the family would go somewhere every summer for a few weeks at a time, ever since my kids were born.  My wife though keeps complaining and saying the appliances are too old and don’t work good and the RV looks bad.  I refused to give up my memories.  I tried to come up with a solution to make her happy and let me still keep my RV.

Sam, my neighbor, also has an older RV, but it looks almost new.  I decided to talk to him to get some ideas.  I figured that he probably hadn’t used his as much as I have mine cause he looks so new.  I was shocked though when he said he used his just as much.  He explained that he keeps it in good shape by buying parts and equipment to keep it in working order and looking good. I told him I didn’t have that kind of money, and he laughed so hard I thought he was gonna quit breathing! When he finally calmed down, he was able to explain. Sam said he got all his RV stuff from rvpartscountry.com. He told me they are cheap and the stuff is high quality.

I checked it out and he was right. I was able to buy all kinds of good stuff to make my wife happy and spruce up the old RV. I bought all new appliances, including a stove, refrigerator, and dishwasher. I even got some new faucets for the kitchen and bath.   I also got me a new awning to spice up the outside. After I got it all installed, my wife was tickeld pink! So am I ,too, cause I get to keep the RV and my memories!

Cargo – We Go

Filed under: Uncategorized — admin @ 11:10 am

My family loves to go on vacations in our RV, but they always to take along extras, such as bicycles.  They like to ride on trails at the different campsites. My youngest daughter, who is 5, just learned how to ride this summer.  I enjoy biking myself.  It’s a great way to get exerc ise and enjoy the outdoors at the same time, but it’s almost impossible to find a way to transport that many bikes. Putting them inside the RV would be a train wreck and is out of the question.  My friend, Barbara, has a Rv and she suggested we look at rvpartscountry.com to try and find a solution.

I looked on the website and was surprised at the variety of products they carry. The products are of high quaility and very affordable. I spoke to Barbara again, and she assured me she has never had any problems with ordering from them. My husband was in a rush to get the problem fixed before our upcoming trip, so I went and ahead and ordered a bike carrier.  Needless to say, my husband wanted to purchase a cargo carrier for himself. All in all, we got a really good bargain and was able to get the items in only a couple of days.

Now when we travel, we don’t have to worry about how to pack up the bikes or any extra cargo we have. We’re even considering purchasing a new awning for our RV next summer. I noticed that the website also had a great selection of those in a variety of eye catching colors. Given the  satisfaction we received on our last order, I’m sure we won’t be disappointed.

Honeymoon Bliss

Filed under: Uncategorized — admin @ 5:10 pm

My wedding was coming up fast and I needed to find a place for our honeymoon at a cheap price cause our wedding blew my budget and savings.  I started checking hotel prices and realized that for the price of a week in a cramped hotel, we could spend two weeks in my RV and travel to our favorite campsites and enjoy the great outdoors without going bankrupt. My new bride loved the idea.  So after the wedding, we packed up and headed out for the trip of a lifetime. It was fantastic! We traveled to all our favorite locations.

As much fun as we were having though, of course something had to go wrong.  When doing dishes, water began spraying everywhere and leaking from under the sink. My wife panicked! I immediately shut off the supply and started investigating. Low and behold, after years of use, I had neglected to do upkeep on the plumbing to the sink. I knew that not being able to use the water in the kitchen would be a huge inconvience, so I had to act quick. I pulled out my laptop and started checking out plumbing parts on online sites. I was thrilled to find rvpartscountry.com. They had everything I need to replace the plumbing from faucet to pipe fittings and all. I ordered the parts and they arrived right at the camp site within just a couple days. I was able to fix it and impress my new wife at the same time all while doing it cheaply. Thanks rvpartscountry.com for saving the day!
