Last summer, the kids and I decided to go on a vacation out west to the Rocky Mountains. The weather was beautiful! There wasn’t a cloud in the sky. I knew that my week out with my two sons was going to be perfect. I just couldn’t have asked for a better week!
Little did I know that my new 2005 Laredo would start having problems only after 4 uses. When we got to the campsite and unloaded, I realized that the septic tank line seemed to be leaking. I really didn’t pay any attention and kept on unpacking my gear. Next, I went to let the awning out on my camper, and I realized that there was a 9 inch long tear in it. I had backed into some trees the previous year and didn’t think I hurt anything. Since the sun was shining, I wasn’t worried about the tear, so we let it out anyways.
Later that night, storm clouds started rolling in. Like always, the weather channel had given a wrong prediction. My sons and I packed up our stuff and decided to go back in and continue our fun indoors with a game of rummy. The real downer was that while sitting around the table, water started dripping faster and faster right in front of us. The new forecast was giving hard rain until next week.
The only good news was that I knew a trustworthy company to get camper parts from. I talked to my friends at RV Parts Country and they recommended some sealant, an awning, and a new sewer hose all at a ridiculously low price. The really great part was that I received my order the very next day! I’m very grateful to them, because they saved my camper floors from rotting, and most importantly, they saved my sons’ school vacation from being a total disaster.
Thank you RV Parts Country! I know where I’m gonna go the next time I need camper parts and fast, friendly service.
